An Irish national suspected to be infected with coronavirus has reportedly escaped from an isolation ward at an Indian hospital.
Local authorities said that the man and a person traveling with him had been taken straight to a medical facility after being screened at Biju Patnaik International airport.
It is understood that the pair then managed to escape from the facility on Thursday evening.
