The coronavirus outbreak has brought some good news for students at least, as the Department of Education has confirmed that the upcoming Leaving and Junior Cert practical and oral exams have been canceled. All students who were due to take those exams will be awarded 100% marks.
The exams were due to take place between Monday March 23 and April 3.
No decision has yet been made about the written exams, scheduled for June.
