Medical authorities here in Ireland believe that COVID-19 cases are likely to rise significantly this week, as widespread testing begins, according to the Irish Mirror.
From today on, anyone with flu- or even cold-like symptoms can request to be tested.
There currently are 169 confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in Ireland, with two deaths so far, but these figures are likely to increase significantly over the coming days and weeks.
