The popular Pontiff, who himself luckily managed to avoid contracting covid-19 after shaking hands with people who reportedly had it, took to social media to ask Christians to prayer the below prayer at midday today.
“Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.”
Let us stay united. I invite all Christians to direct their voices together toward Heaven, reciting the Our Father tomorrow, 25 March, at noon. #PrayTogether #PrayForTheWorld pic.twitter.com/IsZqgssUVE
