Many ski resorts across Europe have shut their doors more than a month earlier than usual, in an effort to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.
Austria, France, Andorra, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland have announced closures amidst a deepening coronavirus crisis in Europe.
The resorts usually close at the end of April or early May, which means loss of revenue and possible job losses.
