

The HSE announced on Friday evening that there was 709 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland with another 44 people dying.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 13,980 cases and 530 deaths with the government expecting a 30% increase daily from this week.
There’s 57% of men with coronavirus and 43% of women with the average age being 48.
Meanwhile in the north, there were 176 new confirmed cases today bringing the total in Northern Ireland to 2,338 with the total number of deaths there now standing at 176 from hospital settings.
It means that as of Thursday morning, there’s a total of 706 deaths from coronavirus.
