A top doctor has warned that Ireland might be hit by a ‘new and dangerous’ virus wave if lockdown measures are lifted prematurely.
According to the Irish Mirror, Professor Philip Nolan, leader of the Irish Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group, issued the grim warning in recent days.
Mr. Nolan also agrees with the Taoiseach in that Ireland has not reached its peak yet in terms of Covid-19 infections and deaths.
