Sunday was a rather cold and unpleasant day, weather wise at least, but things are expected to take a turn for the better this week, with warm and settled conditions throughout.
Today, Monday, will be a mostly dry and sunny day, with temperatures reaching 15C towards the afternoon, sinking back to below freezing at night.
Tuesday and Wednesday are predicted to be much of the same, dry, bright days, with pleasant daytime temperatures reaching 17C, and cold nights.
The good weather will continue through Thursday, though outbreaks of rain will occur on Friday.
