Veteran rock band U2 has pledged to donate €10m to source medical supplies for medical staff working on the frontlines against the coronavirus onslaught.
It is understood that a plane-load of medical supplies landed at Dublin Airport on Tuesday.
Ireland has so far reported 6,074 cases of Covid-19, with 235 deaths.
