Things are looking very serious in the UK with fingers beginning to be pointed in Boris Johnson and his government’s direction.
Covid-19-related deaths in UK hospitals have now surged past 18,000, prompting the British Health Secretary Matt Hancock to say that the country has reached its ‘peak’ in terms of coronavirus deaths.
The figure does not include people who may have died from Covid-19-related causes outside hospital settings.
The UK remains in lockdown, and restrictions won’t be lifted for some time yet, the Health Secretary added.
