It’s a long way back for the UK to see any sort of normality, but finally it appears as though things may be getting slightly better.
The UK has reported the death of 596 more people from Covid-19-related causes in British hospitals over the last 24h.
The total death toll now stands at 16,060. This figure does not include people who may have died from Covid-19 outside hospital settings.
The NHS reported today that a large shipment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) expected today never arrived.
