The pair had two kids.

A “celebration of their lives” service was held at Dardistown Crematorium after their combined funeral mass was held at the Church of St Philip the Apostle in Mountview, Clonsilla, reports RTE.

Fr. George Adzato stated in his homily that Georgina and Anto were a loving couple who had a unique affection for their kids.

He also provided an overview of their lifestyle, stating that they were extremely proud of their home, enjoyed taking vacations, and were scheduled to travel to Spain in two weeks to commemorate their wedding anniversary, reports RTE.

Everyone in the neighbourhood was impacted by their untimely demise, according to Fr. Adzato.

The past few days have not been easy, he continued, adding that it has been hard to put what has transpired into words and give it significance, reports RTE.

The couple’s family members also spoke directly to the congregation.

Emma, Anto’s sister, said he was a joker, affectionate, and hard-working, reports RTE.
