The Tánaiste Simon Coveney has said that 20,000 on holidays in Spain must make plans to return home.
In an announcement the Tánaiste said those in Spain must make plans to return home by midnight on Thursday.
He said that both Aer Lingus and Ryanair facilitate fees for bookings and will increase capacity if necessary.
