Coveney claims there’s no deadline as to when ISIS bride Lisa Smith will be back in Ireland

The game of cat and mouse between ISIS Bride Lisa Smith and the Irish government has taken a new twist after the Tanaiste Simon Coveney says the government has no deadline for Smith to return back to Ireland.

It’s understood that top garda brass will be on hand to heavily interview the Dundalk woman, after the Irish Rangers were deployed to bring the 38-yr-old woman home.

There has been strong opposition from social media users to Smith’s return with many fearing she could get up to no good once she gets back to the Emerald Isle.

The ISIS Bride Lisa Smith who left Ireland for Syria a couple of years ago to join her husband has been loudly pleading to be allowed return to Ireland.

Now, it appears that she might just get her way as representatives for the Irish Government have said that Smith, will likely be ‘quizzed’ by Gardai, should she ever set foot in Ireland again.

It must be noted that there has been no major elaboration as to what this vetting would entail, perhaps merely questioning in the airport when she arrived, maybe an interrogation, it really is anyone’s guess as to what Leo Varadkar, Simon Coveney, Simon Harris and Charlie Flanagan have in mind for Smith.

An investigation into Ms. Smith’s past is currently underway.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar previously said that all Irish citizens associated with ISIS would be repatriated, but this has not yet happened.
