1,200 scientists are desperately pleading with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to delay reopening the economy to avoid a potential Covid catastrophe.
All restrictions are currently scheduled to be lifted in five days’ time, but there are signs of rising infection numbers even before lockdown ends.
The scientific community is now pointing to the Netherlands, where cases rose by a massive 500% shortly after all restrictions were lifted there.
