
Aer Lingus is reportedly considering compulsory redundancies and the closure of bases at Cork and Shannon, it has emerged today.
Ireland’s flagship carrier has seen its profits pretty much vanish due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The airline posted a staggering loss of €316m in the three months between April and June.
Aer Lingus was planning to offer voluntary redundancies, but cannot rule out compulsory ones too.
