France has imposed a new lockdown on sixteen of its regions, including the capital. following a dramatic increase in coronavirus cases.
The latest lockdown will be in place for at least four weeks in an attempt to curb the spread of the disease.
The decision came after almost 35,000 new cases were confirmed today.
