Irish health authorities have sounded the alarm about a possible new surge of coronavirus, as daily cases appear to be increasing.
There were 769 new cases confirmed on Sunday alone, the highest increase since February 26th.
According to authorities, the current vaccination rate ‘is not enough’ to reduce the spread of the virus in any significant way.
