One county in Ireland’s southwest is in a ‘very troubling position’ as coronavirus infections spike there.
According to health authorities, there is an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases in Co. Limerick, reportedly connected to social gatherings over the past couple of weeks.
It is understood that the daily figure of new infections rose from 11 last Sunday to 46 on Thursday.
