Covid-19: All non-essential retail to reopen on St. Stephen’s Day, in direct contravention to NPHET’s advice

The Irish Government is allowing all non-essential retail to open on St. Stephen’s Day, despite the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET)’s advice to the contrary.

The country has seen over 1,000 new cases of the Covid-19 today alone, and it has been confirmed that the mutant strain of Covid-19 is now in Ireland.
