Covid-19: Australia to begin reopening its borders from next month

Australia will reportedly begin reopening its borders from next month, following more than 18 months of closure.

According to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to travel overseas, once 80% of the Australian population is vaccinated.

Still, fully vaccinated individuals will be requested to ‘home quarantine’ for seven days upon their return, once again casting doubt on the point of being vaccinated at all.
