Many European airlines have agreed to issue refunds to passengers whose flights were canceled due to the pandemic.

The airlines initially pushed to give passengers vouchers instead.

But following months of talks and negotiations, airlines like Ryanair, EasyJet, British Airways, Lufthansa, and Air France-KLM have finally agreed to reimburse passengers, and only give people vouchers if they expressly request them.
