The Australian city of Perth has entered full lockdown following a confirmed new case of coronavirus.
The city was put in lockdown at short notice following the confirmation that a security guard working at a quarantine hotel tested positive for the disease. This is the first confirmed case of community transmission of the virus in Western Australia in over ten months.
The city will remain in lockdown for at least 5 days.
