Covid-19: Brighton Gay pride festival organisers say that it will be going ahead despite coronavirus outbreak




The organisers of the UK’s biggest gay pride event have said the event it still set to go ahead this August 1st in Brighton despite the continuing spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The event which celebrates LGBTQQIP2SAA lifestyles will proceed despite more than 100 other similar gay pride events being cancelled around the world this year to avoid the spread of the Chinese virus.

Brighton itself, enjoys a significant economic boon from the gay pride event which bring on average £20 million to the city’s economy. Revenue that no city can easily pass on following this unprecedented shut down of business.

This years Brighton gay pride festival which is due to take place on the 1st and 2nd of August will mark the 30th anniversary of the celebration and is set to be headlined by Mariah Carey and the Pussycat Dolls.
