In yet another shambolic performance by the Irish Government, callers were reportedly left waiting for hours while trying to get through to the recently setup Covid helpline to get digital certs.
It is understood that the helpline was grossly understaffed for the volume of calls expected.
The Government said that they’re working to increase the capacity.
