Covid-19: Chief Medical Officer says that ‘there’s no certainty’ a vaccine for Covid-19 will ever be developed

Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer has said that ‘there’s no certainty’ a vaccine for Covid-19 will ever be developed.

Mr. Holohan further said that he was ‘hopeful’ that a vaccine would eventually be produced, but that people should not rely on this ever happening.

On average, 80% of Covid-19 cases tend to be mild to moderate, about 14% cause severe symptoms, and just about 6% become critical.
