A Chinese official has openly admitted that the efficacy of Chinese-developed vaccines against coronavirus is ‘low.’
The frank admission came from Gao Fu, the director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
According to Mr. Fu, the vaccines developed in his country have efficacy rates as low as 50%, with the highest rate believed to be 79%.
No vaccines developed abroad have been approved to be used in China.
