Coronavirus cases have surpassed 1m across Latin America, it has emerged today.
Globally, there have been over 6.1m infections and over 371,000 deaths. These are the official figures, but health authorities believe the true number to be far higher.
Latin America has recently become the new epicenter of the pandemic as cases rise exponentially on a daily basis.
