Creches and other childcare facilities will include ‘play pods’ when they reopen at the end of June, it has emerged today.
These pods will be used to segregate children by age, with younger children not allowed to mix or share toys with children in other pods.
The announcement comes the day after caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar confirmed that schools will reopen at the end of August in time for the 2020-2021 academic year.
