There are doubts about whether or not the current €350 emergency payment will be extended past its original deadline of June 8.
The monies are lodged into claimants’ accounts every Tuesday, and though the Minister for Social Protection Regina Doherty has said that there will be ‘no cliff’ for people receiving this payment, it is unclear if the payment period will be extended.
Over 500,000 people across Ireland are receiving this payment as of now.
