Covid-19: Dr. Tony Holohan appears to suggest full closure of pubs as he says midnight curfew ‘not enough’

Dr. Tony Holohan appears to be suggesting a full closure of pubs, as he says that the midnight curfew is ‘not enough’ to stop the spread of Covid-19.

The curfew idea was, to be fair, just as idiotic as any other recommendation made by the Government, as it implied that ministers believed that viruses only become at one minute past 12am.

Mr. Holohan is increasingly frustrated that no one is following his orders anymore, and appears to be preparing to issue a recommendation to close everything down again.

The National Public Emergency Team (NPHET) is due to meet on Thursday to discuss further restrictions.

The public is now widely expecting a full lockdown in the very near future.
