The Electric Picnic festival will not go ahead this September as Laois County Council has refused permission to organize a three-day festival.
Organizers had been hopeful that the festival would go ahead this year, but this has turned out not to be the case.
This is the second year running that the popular event is canceled due to the pandemic.
