Formerly appointed Taoiseach and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that local restrictions might become ‘the new normal’ in the capital after a huge rise in coronavirus cases.
Mr. Varadkar admitted that the situation is ‘worrying.’
A total of 1,784 people have died from Covid-19-related causes in Ireland so far.
