Gardai have reportedly intervened to shut down more than 30 house parties near the University of Limerick over the past few days.
According to Gardai, there were more than 30 people in attendance at each party.
Gardai have maintained a high visibility around student campuses to enforce social distancing and other safety measures designed to curb the spread of Covid-19.
