The Government has approved plans to administer booster coronavirus jabs to people over 65 residing in care homes, and also all people over 80.

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, confirmed the plans today.

The booster jab will be given no earlier than 180 days after the completion of the two-dose vaccination regime.
