Covid-19: HSE boss says that Ireland’s hospital system is at ‘surge capacity’




HSE boss Paul Reid has said that Ireland’s hospital system is at ‘surge capacity.’

As of today, there are 1,850 people in hospital suffering from severe coronavirus symptoms.

Ireland is currently in the grip of a deadly third wave accelerated by the misguided relaxation of lockdown measures last December.
