The Health Service Executive (HSE) warns that Irish hospitals are facing difficult times as the Delta variant takes hold.
According to a spokesperson, hospitals face ‘winter levels’ of medical emergencies, coinciding with the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant.
There were 631 confirmed new infections across Ireland today, as the situation deteriorates fast.
