Hundreds of staff have tested positive for coronavirus at a German slaughterhouse.
No fewer than 657 people at Toennies, one of Germany’s biggest meat processing plants, were confirmed to have the virus. The facility employs around 1,000 people.
About 7,000 people who live in the Gutersloh district, where the plant is located, have now been quarantined.
