An independent scientists’s group is recommending the immediate closure of pubs and restaurants to prevent yet another lockdown in the new year, as happened last winter.
According to the Independent Scientific Advisory Group (ISAG), Ireland will face a new lengthy lockdown shortly after Christmas if the Government doesn’t act now.
The group is also calling for an immediate ban on all non-essential travel.
