Covid-19: Ireland to enter ‘Phase One’ of the lockdown easing process on Monday

Ireland will enter the first phase of the lockdown easing process on Monday, according to the Irish Mirror.

Phase One involves permitting up to 4 people from different households to gather once a day, for example, as long as everyone lives within 5km from each other, and social distancing is maintained.

Those who work outdoors can also return to work on Monday, and golf courses and tennis courts will be accessible to members who live within 5km of the facilities.

A total of 1,506 people have died from Covid-19 in Ireland so far, with almost 24,000 infections confirmed.
