Irish health authorities have reported just over 6,300 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 6,307 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Health authorities have also confirmed that there are now 429 in hospital with severe coronavirus disease. It’s not clear how many of these were ‘fully’ vaccinated.
