Irish health authorities have reported just under 22,000 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 21,926 infections confirmed in that period of time.
There currently are 936 people with severe coronavirus-related disease across Irish hospitals today. It is unclear how many of these are ‘fully’ vaccinated.
