Covid-19: Leo Varadkar says that there will be no move to Level 4 or 5 lockdown ‘unless the Government considers it necessary’

Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that there will be no move to Level 4 or 5 lockdown ‘unless the Government considers it necessary.’

The warning comes days after the disastrous Government decision to ignore the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) advice to impose an immediate Level 5 lockdown.

Meanwhile, the pandemic is getting steadily worse with every passing day, and the Government might eventually be forced to bring about Level 5 anyway, only after hundreds more have died or gotten sick unnecessarily.
