Lockdown end is now in jeopardy in the UK as the number of daily coronavirus cases continues to rise.
June 7th had been deemed ‘freedom day’, as restrictions were originally scheduled to end on that date.
But the Indian variant is now casting doubt on that, after more than 3,000 cases were confirmed on Wednesday alone. Such high number had not been seen since early April.
