Covid-19: Lockdown restrictions to remain on ‘for the first two months of 2021,’ according to Tanaiste

Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that lockdown restrictions will remain on ‘for the first two months of 2021.’

Mr. Varadkar’s words come on a day when it’s all but confirmed that a new severe lockdown will be imposed shortly after Christmas Day, following a dire deterioration of the Covid-19 situation in Ireland.

The Government is referring to the new lockdown as ‘Level 5 minus.’
