The Netherlands is set to impose a three-week lockdown as coronavirus cases surge, despite the country having one of Europe’s vaccination rates.

Bars, restaurants, and non-essential retail spaces will be shut at 7pm ahead of the virus starting its daily infection rounds at 7.01, but schools will remain open.

Europe is now experiencing a new wave of coronavirus that just happens with coincide with the rollout of the booster shot, so many are now questioning this peculiar fact. Previous waves also just happened to coincide with the rollout of previous rounds of vaccination.
