The Dealgan House Nursing Home in Dundalk has been forced to close, following the shocking revelation that two fully vaccinated staff members tested positive for coronavirus.
Visitors are now banned from the facility.
Dealgan House has been affected particularly badly by the pandemic. In May 2020, 23 residents there died from the disease.
It’s now unclear what effect vaccines have, if any, in preventing contagion.
