October 22 is emerging as the likely ‘Freedom Day’ for Ireland, as the Government says that most Covid-19-related restrictions will be lifted by then.

It is understood that Ministers will meet tomorrow to discuss a roadmap to exit all lockdown restrictions.

After October, the Government is said to rely on a ‘personal responsibility’ model.
