Oxfam has issued a warning that 12,000 people a day could die from hunger in the post-pandemic world.
According to the charity, Covid-19 is likely to push millions of people further down the poverty line and cause widespread hunger around the world.
Globally, over 12.5m people have become infected with coronavirus, with over 560k confirmed deaths.
