Pfizer is reportedly requesting permission from a European agency to inoculate children aged 5-11 with its coronavirus vaccine.

The pharma company has submitted a request to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to be granted permission to use the compound on the younger cohorts.

The Pfizer compound has been associated with severe side effects in teenagers, including heart inflammation.
